First off, I hope you can forgive me for posting so sporadically here. I am planning on resuming regular blog posts asap, but with school ending and a wedding to plan, I have been SoOoOOOo busy. 

Anyway, enough with the excuses....

Today I stopped into Target for some boring household items when I stumbled upon this dress which is almost identical to Rebecca Taylor's "red poppy" dress, skirt, and top(s).

I'm excited to wear the dress once it starts warming up in CA, and I'm thrilled about the $25 price tag! Have any of you found some good finds at Target recently?

Ga Ga For Gingham

Gingham was all over the Resort 2011 Chanel Runway, it reminds me so much of Barbie...LOVE. I know that gingham will be big this spring/summer, and I've included one "look for less" item at the end of this post.

Leather jackets, vests, pants, and skirts are hot for F/W this year and I love it! One of my favorite shows from fashion week that featured lots of leather was Jen Kao. Her pieces are rocker-chic while still embracing pretty, feminine details.

Red Carpet Fashion: Draping

A huge trend right now on the red carpet is draping. I love this look; it's very Grecian, feminine and pretty, and adds some detail to otherwise plain pieces. Below are a few red carpet looks, and below are more casual, every day drapey dresses that are inspired by the gorgeous red carpet gowns.
