Protect Your Haircolor

Since I've recently started coloring my hair, I have also started taking more precautions to protect it, especially in these summer months. Here are a few of my must haves for healthy, color treated hair.
I added a filter to my shower head because the biggest cause of color fading is actually water. My filter filters out 99.9% of chlorine and also filters out iron and lime.

I absolutely love Pureology products! I have been using Scalp Cure shampoo and conditioner as well as Hydrate conditioner. My scalp is extremely dry and I've never had any success with any other product but Pureology Scalp Cure. Features of Scalp Cure:
  • Pyrithione Zinc, antidandruff active ingredient
  • Fights scalp scaling, itching, and flaking
  • Helps prevent dandruff-related symptoms with regular use
  • Anti-oxidant rich, helps protect hair color

I bought Aveda's Sun Care trio on a whim from my stylist and really love all the products. The Sun Care Protective Hair Veil is a sunscreen that protects your hair and scalp. It's very light and adds shine to your hair; it's infused with vitamin e, organic shea butter, and palm oil.
The Sun Care After Sun Hair Masque is like a leave in conditioner minus the time. You leave it in for 2 minutes. Its blend of organic oils, vitamins, and anti-oxidants strengthen the hair and leave it incredibly soft.
